Presence in Movement is a dance experience that brings us back to the body we inhabit—a reconnection with what can gradually fade away in the rhythm of everyday life. It is a journey back to ourselves, an awakening of self-awareness and of the inner strength that sustains us.
In this space, movement is organic and symbiotic. Nature and its elements guide us towards our most primal memories, reminding us of the fluidity of water, the grounding of earth, the power of fire, and the lightness of air. Ancestral rhythms, voice, and the sound of the drum bring our inner elements into alignment, restoring harmony, softness, strength, and the impulse to celebrate life.
The sensations that arise, together with the collective energy that unfolds, awaken a deeper sense of presence and the profound vitality of both body and group. At the same time, partner work invites us into listening and mindful attention. Conscious touch encourages trust and release, creating a wordless dialogue between body and space, between Self and Other.
